Damage tracking and evaluation of RC columns with structural performances by using seismic monitoring data

A methodology of data-driven damage state quantification with a probability estimation for structural hysteresis RC columns is presented in this paper. The knowledge learned from large-volume behavior database fully considered developing monitoring-oriented indicators, the established relationship between prediction and physics-based evaluation. In present study, 1015 different design parameters first generated by adopting OpenSees, categorization according to primary parameter axial load ratio. Four limit states seismic performance corresponding values proposed index are calculated generate an informative mapping critical values. By fitting probabilistic models on grouped data indices, exceeding probabilities can be obtained. Illustrative examples full-scale cyclic loading shaking table tests adopted illustrate performance-based evaluation process.
